I think gext gen all games might be full mandatory install.
Its the best way to go if you have the space. And next gen consoles should have Terabite HDD's...

If you don't want to play more iterations of Mario and Zelda there is no point in buying the Wii U.
Its essentially a 360, not even a PS3 because it doesn't have blu-ray!
Its nothing but a port machine for PS3/360 hand-me-downs.
Personally, I've grown beyond Platformers like Sonic and Mario, but I love platformers like Tomb Raider.
As I've gotten older, I require story, and chatacter from my gameplay.

Gears 1 maxed out the 360 in 06.
G2&3 Look the same but play better. No graphical leap.
Next gen in 2013, hopefully a huge leap. Gears 4 for launch?

Pachter wasn't talking about the internal components being similar to the Wii, he was refering to its power. In that sense it is very much a current gen console. Its really the console Nintendo should ahve released in 2006.
M$ know what they are doing.
They have 2 large updates a year that last around 1 mintute.
Sony have 1 evey few weeks that last around 2 minutes and do nothing.
I'm tired of these constant usless updates! Where is my cross game chat? Why will the PSV have it but not my PS3?

I completely agree with Pachter.
The power it has make it around the level of a 7 year old 360 next year.
I really enjoyed the game, but boss fights are so inappropriate for Deus Ex.
I put all my perks and upgrades on stealth - and then when the first boos turns up I was totally fraked!

I think Nintnedo may fall farther than in the gamecube days.
At least back then they had the gameboy to prop them up.
With disappointing 3DS sales and attack of the PSV and iPhone games, Nintendo really are in for a bad time.
The Wii U will not sell as well as the Wii. No way. I see it being another gamecube once the PS4 and 720 come out...

I wouldn't advise anyone to buy any of the old 360 models.
If you do buy a 360, I would suggest that you only buy a new 360 s.
That being said, if you don't care for gears halo or fable, you would be better off buying a PS3. It has all the same multiformats plus their exclusives are broader in appeal plus it has blu-ray...

Make the Japs wait a while longer if you must release your console over there. When the 360 came out People in America and europe were desperate for the console but none could be found.
Meanwhile, over in Japan the 360's were forming piles collecting dust in the centre of store isles.
Why doesn't first party PS3 games sell this well?
